FOODSCAPE, a series of work originally produced for an exhibition (February 14 to March 15, 1997) was held at Artspeak Gallery , Vancouver, as part of the programme for Cities at the End of Time: Hong Kong 1997 presented by The Pomelo Project. It was an event brought together artists and writers from Hong Kong, Canada and United States to present works exploring the cultural and social identity of Hong Kong.

FOODSCAPE was also a collaboration of works by Leung Ping-kwan and Lee Ka-sing. With poetry by Leung and pictures by Lee. To fully appreciate the series, there is a suggestion in the exhibition catalogue: "... images are supposed to be read together with the poems, whether they are to be consumed with foods are optional".

The collaboration was later developed into additional chapters, more works had been produced, and exhibited in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Berlin and various other cities. In the first chapter of FOODSCAPE, ten works had been produced and were printed on canvas with the inkjet process. All in size of 30x40 inch. Two vintage editions were made for each work. After the Artspeak Gallery premiere show in Vancouver, Canada, the work was toured to McIntosh Gallery in Ontario. However, the full set of print was lost after the Ontario exhibition while on its way shipping back to Hong Kong.
